General Description

This article explains how to reset a SSINFO password.

Step by Step Instructions

SSINFO is used by incoming freshman, current students, non current students and alumni to access student information such as grades, schedules, financial aid, and fees.

Also, third parties (parents, grandparents, etc) can set up an assignee account and request access to specific student information such as Tuition and Fees (for use with Purdue-pay) and specific Financial Aid information. Permission to access this information must be granted by the student.

Troubleshooting

If you are unable to log into SSINFO, check your password to see if it is in the following format:

  • Has 8 characters
  • Contains at least one lower case letter
  • Contains at least one upper case letter
  • Contains at least one number

You are able to disassociate your career account and password with SSINFO. If you have done this in error, you might be able to log into other applications with a password you reset, but be unable to log into SSINFO. Or, you may be able to log into SSINFO, but be unable to log into other applications, such as Webmail. You can correct this by changing your SSINFO password and requesting that the Purdue Career account use the same password.

SSINFO was modified on 5/20/2006 to require a 10 digit Purdue ID instead of a 9 digit Student ID to login
