What is the Cisco VPN Client?
Using the Cisco virtual private networking (VPN) client software is the preferred method for connecting to Purdue’s VPN service. The Cisco VPN Client is prepackaged with all configurations. It is also less susceptible to dropped connections compared to Microsoft’s built-in client. The system will push updates to the client software automatically when a configuration change is made.
How to install the Cisco VPN Client
- Download the Cisco VPN Client software by clicking the following link: http://www.itap.purdue.edu/connections/vpn/software/vpnclient-win-msi.exe
